A Navy second-class midshipman at the U.S Naval Academy has been arrested after allegedly bringing 150 pounds of marijuana into the U.S from Mexico. The yet to be named 24-year-old is currently being held in San Diego while the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) investigates.

U.S. Customs officials pulled over the midshipman June 10 at the re-entry point just north of the Mexican border. Navy officials said its not clear how the marijuana was being transported or if there are any other suspects.
